I never went to summer camp when I was a girl. I wanted to and I envied the girls who went away for a week to meet new people who shared similar interests. My daughter wants to go to summer camp. She is a horse lover. So, I decided to give her the best of both worlds. I found a summer camp at a Montana dude ranch. There are many to choose from, but we picked one that sits at the base of the mountains, where they take the campers on trail rides every day. I cannot wait to hear her tales of riding and sitting around the campfire.
