It was the first time that I saw the chair.I was fascinated by its steely look. My friend couldnot answer my eager questions regarding the chair except from where she got it. I returned home to search the net and was amazed to know that it was designed 1920’s. The use of steel tubing to build the chair was also brilliant. It looked so modern in my friends house that I never imagined it that it was in sale long before. I found the rates were also very affordable for the modern look. I also read that the thick cowhide leather slings used to create the seating surfaces, maintain their crisp tautness for decades. My husband also appreciated the chair and now I am happy to say that I am a proud owner of a Wassily Chair. My mom’s birthday is nearing and I am thinking of gifting her one.
